An 18-Day intensive course which is assessed by multi-choice examinations, questions and answer sessions, practical assessments and a learner portfolio.

There is also a mandatory minimum requirement for a First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification to be in place prior to attending the Close Protection course, we therefore run this on the two days prior to the CP course.

A further option which often opens up further employment opportunities is the 5-day FREC 3 qualification which we run on the five days prior to the CP course.

Please book onto one of these also unless you already hold a first aid qualification such as FAW, FPOS or FREC 3 and it has a minimum of 12-months validation still remaining on the Start of day one of your CP course.

On successful completion it will allow the learner to apply to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for their Close Protection Licence.
